Good news for applicants who want to be part of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as they launched the DSWD Caraga IRIS or Integrated Recruitment Information System. IRIS is a recruitment management system that helps them manage job posts, and applications, and assess candidates in their hiring process.
Starting September 1, 2022, all applicants must register and create an account in the DSWD IRIS at https://caraga-iris.dswd.gov.ph/. Applications other than through IRIS won’t be entertained.
Benefits
The Integrated Recruitment Information System (IRIS) is a tool that the Human Resource Planning and Performance Management Section (HRPPMS) uses to be more efficient in managing recruitment, selection, and placement (RSP). It helps them become more organized and provides a smoother application process.
Requirement
Before you create an account in the DSWD IRIS, you must prepare documents that the agency requires for all applicants. Here are the basic documents you must have:
- Transcript of Record (TOR)
- Application letter
- Personal Data Sheet
- Work Experience Sheet
- Optional documents such as:
- Certificate of training
- Certificate of Employment (COE)
- Performance Evaluation or Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR)
Although the word ‘OPTIONAL’ is written, it is better to submit them because it will be used to evaluate your application. All documents must be in PDF/JPEG/PNG format.
How to Apply through DSWD IRIS?
To register, go to the DSWD website at https://caraga-iris.dswd.gov.ph/. Once you’re on their website, follow these very simple step-by-step instructions to create your account.
Step 1: Sign Up Page
In the ‘Sign Up Page’, you can create your account by filling out the information sheet. You must provide accurate and updated information as you will use this account for your application. Once you are done with the information, click the ‘Register’ button and wait for the automated text message in your registered contact number from the IRIS for your username and password. The username and the password are your login information.
Step 2: Sign In
Use your login information to ‘Sign In’ and go to Job Vacancies. There is a list of job vacancies you can apply for. Check all the details in the job post and make sure to read and understand them thoroughly. After choosing the job you want to apply to, click the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 3: Documentary Requirements
All the documents must be uploaded to the website and must be in PDF/JPEG/PNG format. If there is eligibility, click the ‘With Eligibility’ button and provide the eligibility details.
Step 4: Tracking Number
After submitting your application, you will receive a tracking number in your registered contact number. The tracking number will be used in inquiring and tracking the status of your application. The tracking number will also serve as an acknowledgment of your application.
Step 5: Application Status
In your account, you can go to the ‘Dashboard’ and from there, click the ‘Application Status’. In the application status, you will see the progress of your application. For every progress, you will receive an automated text message to keep you updated.
